Worms Pinball (Steam) comes with one table, but it is very good

User Rating: 8 | Worms Pinball PC

The original release of Worms Pinball was in the Playstation era and didn't seem great value for money when you only got two tables, one of which wasn't anything to do with Worms. For this Steam release, you only get one table and at a much lower price.

When it comes to pinball, the design of the table and the ball physics matter the most, with the theme being the finishing touch. The good news is that it is at a high standard. The table has a great layout and is busy enough to be fun without being too cluttered. and the ball's weight and movement feels right so pings around the table as you would expect.

Some of the game events don't seem very Worm themed like Spot The Card or Mars Attacks, but there is a Super Sheep mini game where you have to move the sheep on the LED screen to collect the bonuses whilst avoiding the environment. The table design has plenty of worms on it, and there's plenty of familiar sound effects to give it the worms edge.

After many games, you may feel a bit irritated by the music, and even though there is an options menu; the sound menu has been omitted. So you have to resort to lowering the volume/muting it via your PC's Volume Mixer every time you want to play.

If you like Pinball, then Worms Pinball is worth checking out. It currently retails at £4.99 on Steam which you may think is overpriced for one table, especially when Pinball Fx tables go for £1.99.
