While it isn't the classic original Worms Armageddon, it can satisfy Worms vets like back in the good old days.

The name of this XBLA game intrigued me. I absolutely loved the original Worms: Armageddon game on the computer from a long while back. It entertained me for years. It is one of my favorite games of all time. I decided I had to give this game a whirl.
While this lacks many of the features from Worms Armageddon and loses some of the fun in the process, it still can provide a good amount of fun, and even some nostalgia for the Worms veteran (especially those, like me, who disliked the attempts at making 3D Worms games).
The campaign of the game, although not very long, gets challenging fast and can provide hours of play time. The majority of the fun this game produces will most likely come from the game's multiplayer options. The multiplayer in the game is great, local or online.
The dialect of the worms you play as and against are hilarious. There are sound groups ranging from Sean Connery-style secret agents to stereotypical rednecks.
I would have really enjoyed to see a map maker to use at least in local play. That was the thing I miss the most from the original Worms:Armageddon.
This game is recommendable to many people, but I'm not too sure if those of you who already own Worms from XBLA will find too many differences to justify the purchase of this game.
