this should be called worms:revenge of the AI
then i heard about this game.worms reloaded.when i played it,it gives me all the nostalgia of the past.i love how they keep to the original game of worms,and instead make the game to look crisper and sound better.
however i find some difference in this game.first of all,is the sound.the soundtracks and all have become serious,and not all make a goofy environment like the older worms.now,all of that is serious.
and next,i notice is the AI.damn it,the AI even on normal settings,NEVER misses,i mean its like they are cheating!you can't afford to miss a shot or they will trash you.but if set on easy,then it is too stupid.for those veteran gamers like me,i find it as a challenge,but it can frustrate newcomers.the campaign is also hard.in like mission 30,you are given only two worms to fight against like 10 worms,which never misses a shot.imagine that crap.i literally sweating when i play the game.
but many aspects of the old games are retained and you find your old likings such as the holy hand grenade,banana bomb,is back.but you must purchase them at the shop,and the shop has some other locked items
in a nutshell,although i enjoyed this game,but i personally think worms armageddon is better.this game has loses its charm with crazy AI and surround sound effects making the game feels more serious and stiff.but anyway veterans should love this game.
