Utterly hopeless. That's about the only way I can really describe this game. But, in this review, I'm going to try really hard to elaborate on that.
Sadly there really isn't much more I can say. The first few levels of the game form a tutorial, where you have to drive round in circles around tracks, without hitting anything. Easy. Or it would be, if the car didn't handle so horribly, and the controls weren't so poor. And, to make things worse, the tutorials are compulsory. You can't get to the actual game without playing through them.
Then, the game. I never did finish the first mission. It was too hard. You are supposed to be chasing a drunk driver, and you have to disable his car by bumping into it (no guns allowed in this mission). But every time you bump him, your car takes more damage than his does, meaning that chances are your car will be wrecked before his.
I'm sure if I had tried hard enough I could have dun it, but why would I want to? This game was actually a painful esperience for me to play.
The graphics are poor and fuzzy. The cars are blocky and angular.
And the sound, well, I played the game on mute, because I simply can't stand the voice of John Bunnell. And he sounds even more ridiculous than ever in this game.
Overall, this game is completely rubbish, in every way. If you want car chases, play Grand Theft Auto. Leave this game in the bargain bucket.
