Doesn't do anything spectacular, but a decent FPS none the less.

You play as a gunslinging robber name Jericho Cross, who turns into a vampire by robbing the wrong train. This is where the game starts out. The first level acts also like a tutorial explaining the ducking and the changing weapons really not that hard to learn. Infact I just changed my controller scheme to the Masterchief scheme they have on there itentical to Halo. Once again it is just a basic shooter with a very linear experience. The whole point of the game is going after the vampire that infected you and trying to kill it so you can become human again, with a bunch of side stories in between. Basic going around killing all the enemies you see and then going on to the next part. There aren't really that many enemys you fight against proabably 5 or 6, the monsters begin to get really tedious as you get to the later levels. All of the weapons have been modified in some way, most have a special melee attack like the shotgun which has blade on the end of it. The A.I. isn't really too difficult at all, if you find it too easy you can higher the difficulty if you want, but really not all that smart. You will find that the undead will be stuck walking into wall or walking into each other. There are vehicles in the game that are compareable to Halo especially the warthog vehicle you get half way through the game. There are a few spots where you get to ride on your demon horse, nothing really speical though. Last note is the game does incorpate a evil/good thing like fable. Throughout the game you will get to choose between options one being good the other being evil. This incorperates the vampire powers that you unluck and get to use.
The graphics are not terribley bad, but there not that great. There are some decent textures here and there, but the game see to be mostly set up of dark colors, which is sets the mood of the game since it is a western. The 6 different enimies look really great, but the character models are lacking. The faces on the characters you are fighting along side with are pretty bad. The game does have some good CG movies that move the story along.
The sound isn't top notch, but it does the trick. Have decent weapon sounds and voice overs.
No real reason to go back and play through the game again, unless maybe you want to do it on a higher difficultly or change to good or evil. The game is xbox live enabled with the normal game types death match and team death match. There is also spilt screen over one xbox if you have a friend over. The game itself you will finish in proabably 8-10 hours maybe even less. The story mode was lacking, but the online will give this game a longer life.
Like I said before I wasn't blown away by this game like I thought I would have been. This is just another medicore FPS that really doesn't do anything different in the genre. I give this game only one thumb up.
