I am not one for football games, and it was only because i went to my friends house to thrash him 3-0 on my first ever try that i ever heard of the game. I was so impressed by the feel and atmostphere of the game, i eventualy picked it up for £14 brand new. The game is brilliant is what i have to say, the feeling of scroing and trying new techniques to open up the game is amazing. The fact that the difficulty is well balanced, you wouldn't normally score 12-0 unless its on very easy. The controls stick well and is easy once you get the hang of it. There are two main modes that players usually use on this. That is to play normally without using faints and other tricks and the people that do. Using the tricks to blst your way into the opponants half and score or attempt to anyway is a great feeling.

The playability is great and you will mostly be playing the Master League which buils up a team that you have created with the goal to get into premiership division or equiviliant and win the corrospoding UEFA championship cup or chmpions league. Building up from some rubbish payers to buy Henry or john terry in the 4th season or so forth.

Graphic wise the models are nicly put, with the stadium shots really giving more to the game. Of couse there are some sprites that represent the crowd in some parts of the game.
The commentating is well put together i think and is quite impressive when you have hit the top right hand part of the cross bar and the game acknowledges it.

The licences are not as many as FIFA but none the less contain all the players and the majority of the itialian and spanish league.

Overall this game is worth the £14 i picked it up from
