There's nothing wrong with the concept behind Croc: The Legend of the Gobbos. The only problem is that the game was executed poorly on several fronts. As far as graphics, the game is nothing special at all. For controls, the game's weakest point, it is extremely annoying to try and control Croc. The levels got quite repetitive, as did the lackluster music, which started with a mediocre song and repeated it endlessly with slight variations. The "boss" fights are pretty ridiculous, too. Overall, this game is exactly like all of its components: mediocre, nothing more. The game could have been much better with a slight improvement in graphics, music, and controls/gameplay especially, but it felt short, which is a shame.
