No online play/roster updates and slightly choppy hitting animation prevents me from giving this game upwards of a 9.0 score. I love all of the little things that WSB 2K3 has to offer. I also must admit that I was an MVP "fanboy" when MVP came out - that is, until I put in WSB and started playing it nearly a week later. MVP is a great game, but it's missing SO many of those small things that ultimately makes WSB better. Things such as the ability to wear alternate/throwback uniforms, fantasy drafts, etc. seem small, but when all put together, make a baseball gaming experience far more enjoyable. What really irks me, however, is the lack of online play or even basic roster updates. Next year, ALL sports games should be REQUIRED to provide, at the very least, roster updates to its constituents.
