An amazing baseball game through and through; gameplay, management, and graphics. This game is top notch.
First let me start off with the gameplay. The basic mechanics are very intuitive, for both offense and defense, which is definately a plus. And of course, some of the nicer plays aren't so easy, which gives the game it's really nice challenge. Leaping up as an outfielder to rob a home run...is the one elusive part of the game I haven't been able to do yet...it's like my curse!
The game features full length seasons, with standings, detailed players stats, league leaders, and even awards for top performers at the end of the season!
And in GM mode, the game gets even more detailed. You have the farmhands you can bring up from the minors, you have free agents and contracts to deal with, and a host of other great GM features that really add to this game's appeal.
Overall, I would definately recommend this game to any sports gaming fan, and especially any baseball fans out there.
