Welcome to my review for world poker tour on the PSP, firstly you don't have to know how to play real poker to be able to learn in the game, so keep your eyes open and don't close the page yet.

When you begin the game you make your character, you can customise his hair, race, skin tone, sex, body and even clothing.
Clothing is bought by obtaining chips in games for doing certain moves whilst winning, for example if you win a game with a pair you unlock 1 bronze chip.
This chip can be spent on clothes, obviously the better the chips the better the clothing really.
For example, a royal flush will get you a platimun chip.

I think this feature adds a lot to the game giving you something to aim for whilst customising your character how you want them to look, you can get items such as hats, glasses, watches, rings, neklaces, shirts, pants and many more.

So onto gameplay, it's pretty average as I noted at the top of the page, you have the option to enter tournaments or casual games etc..
In tournaments your given a certain amount of money to start of with and your aim is to survive to the final 10 in which you'll ten be entered in the finale around 1 table.
Your given your cards, you choose your option and the game continues, sometimes your put down by annoying voice overs though.

For example- everytime someone makes their move they say something like 'it's all I could do' or 'Hmm.. I think this should do' it's always the same thing and always the same 10 voices! it does get rather annoying.

As for music there isn't much in the game, so thus I don't have much to say about it.

Visuals are also similar to the average gameplay, characters are quite detailed but to be honest everything could be a bit better.
As you enter better tournaments etc.. your soroundings improve to more glamorous settings, this is quite nice as you get bored of playing at the same table all the time.

Anway, I reccomend WPT to anyone who enjoys a glamorous game of poker but needs an alternative to real life gambling.
Also if your new to poker and just wanna see what it's all about, give it a go!
Hope this review helped, thanks for reading!
