We all know, it's predecessor, which is a Word of Tanks, and it was/are a great game, but the Warplanes just don't give the same feeling.

Clumsy, Lags, jibrish - three words describe a game

Part One - Exception

It was good experience to wait until game came out. I heard some test results, and more or less it was good. Like always in wargaming studios, they make really good artwork and it took all your attention for the moment.

When I thought about WoW (World of Warplanes), I tried to play more WoT (World of Tanks) to understand a capability of wargaming studios limits and it was good, it was really remarkably good. It was giving you feeling of control, ability to modifier your tank to full optional level, to make you a guy who will change course of the battle.

Each level you started as men from stock, which was useless against bigger level tanks our sometimes even same level tanks. Then you evolve and created tank of fear. In WoW I excepted the same modifier ability, the same hard start and urgent feeling to level up and be best in your level.

From playing WoT I understand that in WoW I am waiting for same variety of war machines, which I will be able to explore. In WoT is basically 4 classes, anti-tank tanks, artillery, heavy tanks and light tanks.

Par Two - Reality.

It was ruff experience. Everything resemble the World of Tanks. The LogIn screen, launching form and even game environment.

You got your so say garage, where you can see all your planes. Everything was absolutely the same like Tanks, so Wargaming was thinking, why create new wheel, if the old one was working pretty good?

The leveling tree was basically the same only, in planes there was some visual issues, it was at first hard to orientate only because they change a angle of things in the end you understand.

It was first small disappointment, then I realized a big one. There is only three types of plane. You can take the big bomber, big fighter or a light fighter. At first levels, there is almost non visible difference only maybe speed, but even that you just don't feel. So how to predict, which you want play for the game? You just chose, which tree gives you more likable better plane, or just more awesome look.

We will not talk about the menu some times slow or unpredictable response (lets say there will be end version).

But the game play. I understand that even in Tanks, the first levels are really boring, because you are slow, week and maybe don't know the map, but in the Planes you are the same slow war machine, the speed says you fly with 200 Km/h or even more, but the feeling? If I dont look at numbers (height and speed) I don't feel the difference between plane who can make 150 Km/h and plane which can make 240 Km/h. In latter levels, the speed is more different you will feel the difference, but no so much.

What about battle? It's so...bad. Flight can be really bad, because in one moment, you can just lost where are you, and how are you flying, you just need some more gadget like attitude indicator who would show plane state.

The difference between levels are pretty low, you will not feel really superior over 2 levels beneath you. Your gun maybe can be

The variety in game? Not a big one. You have map, and air. In tanks you can hide, rush in to enemy our take a good position for fire. In planes, you can fly - difference is you will be first in attacking line or somewhere behind. Off course you can make strategy that you fly behind and if you are lucky it will not be so difficult but it will not really change the flow of a battle.

The Air just can get (in this mode) main essence of land fighting.

Game is really poor in the main things, Game-play and Fun. It would be a good clinch maybe if the game get a story. For example, the German fighters versus USSR and incinerate other real battles. You would fight for a nation, for territory for evolving.

Yes they say it not polished to end, but I don't believe it will be much better.
