All of you idiots insisting Dreamworks needs to sue Blizzard should probably do a little homework so you don't come off quite as asinine as did in these posts.
Pandaren monks were in Warcraft 3, which came out in 2002 and predates the Dreamworks movie by quite some time. So technically it could be the other way around, Blizzard suing Dreamworks.
seriously people, just because there's a new race coming and you don't like it you HAVE to quit wow? 1.even if they were a joke at WC3, there is nothing wrong with joking (specially in online games) 2.everyone says they should go back to vanilla but from what i have seen in the news, MOP is concentrated on the battle between horde & alliance, just as vanilla. so why not give this expansion a chance?

Played Wow when it first came out to a level 60 cleric. I am not sure why I am reading this but am surprised at the level of negitivity about this update. Do most of these people want a "real" life toon? Like maybe a mob figure or some sort of army guy? This is a game. Every toon is fantasy. Make believe. I don't get people.
How is playing as Panda's any worse than playing as walking cows, werewolves or gnomes for hell's sake. For a pure fantasy game that is 7 years old, this expansion looks fun and could breath some life into it. As if there's not gonna be a thousand pandas running around after its release. It'll be a good laugh and lots of fun.
1 Like i cant bear to look at graphics like this in 2011, Blizzard and Valve need to wake me up when they have new graphics engines.. i could care less about their franchises. they are mainly PC only developers and their lowest common denominator rule for games is starting to get old, diablo 3 was first shown off in 2007 4 years later the graphics look exactly the same same with valve and their source engine. take a chance like Dice did with Bf3 and develop for high end PC's for once.
Re-doing the talent system again! I guess Blizz just can't stop coming up with new ways to nerf warriors.

I've ALWAYS said...the ONLY, and I mean ONLY thing, that would bring me back to WoW, is if the Pandarens were real. Well, my greatest want (and nightmare) has finally been realized...I gets it's time to head back to Azeroth.
I really like WoW even after last two expansions but this is just wrong. I love oriental theme and pandarens but the whole realm of them... well that`s at least strange. I guess it's time to switch WoW to something new, SWTOR and GW2 maybe...
This is ridiculous, an entire expansion based on a joke like the guy before me said (yes i played WC3 as well). Arthas was the only character with such a rich lore and the only lore in which i was interested in. Now he died like a joke and the expansions afterwards were just pocket fillers for blizz. No way i'm going back for this except if vrykul were thrown in as a playable race maybe. But for me the series has died and i'll switch to Skyrim.
I think Pandaria's looking pretty great. I believe it'll be a wonderful new place to explore for the people still playing WoW. The truth is that there are still alot of people who enjoy WoW, and I think the new expansion looks promising. I'm sure it will do well. I'm not currently playing WoW myself, and I don't see myself doing so in the forseeable future, but I wouldn't discount the possibility of one day spending some time with it again. Azeroth is a wonderful world to get lost in. I really don't see where all the hate for WoW comes from.
@ MiguelNeto Sure, Pandarians have been in WoW lore for a long time, they were introduced in WC3 - AS A JOKE. So there's no point acting like they're important part of the lore - basing an entire expansion on them is completely laughable, like WoW itself these days.
I dont get the part where people complains about pandas. . . this is a beautiful world inspired from asia thats worth to behold. And besides the pandarens isn't something new in the world of warcraft, if anything it's been waited by some. People who can't see the world beyond the pandas, do miss something out..

Too many mmo players think they're so cool. They play as Twilight crap like the Worgen, but won't play as a fun race like the Pandaren. They may say the Pandaren look childish, but I think it's people who say this that are.
Pandas, lol, of all fantasy creatures there are they chose...pandas? Kill the game and let new players in MMO step forward, this is just ridiculous.
Love the "anyways back to Rift" comments. Rift was fun for about 3 weeks and then I became bored and I stopped playing after a month. Funny how most of the bad comments here are probably from past Wow players that loved the game. And most of these people end up coming back to Wow because the MMO they playing now becomes a joke and boring.

pls give up alrdy blizzard.. close the servers, wow is done ;/ instead open vanilla realms for a couple of dollars.. that would bring MILLIONS of players back!
Kung Fu Panda is putting it obviously, but at the same time i guess it's just a new class, a new place to visit,, but for me i'm still longing for the day that a game such as WoW can be on a console...
obviously aimed at young ones so they beg mummy and daddy to set them up a war craft account so they can be kung fu panda
