Sorry guys. I will take all the tomatoes you'll throw at me but how could you play that many hours of this game?
But after seeing the huge success of WOW I said to myself - you have to try it. So I did.
Sorry people but unless someone tells me that I've missed something in the game play (which would be a fault of the game anyway) I just can't see what is so fun in this game.
Go there, kills that many of that and comes back with the proofs. THIS IS ALL THERE IS. Sure you can create item and sell it and you can create a virtual shop out of it. But it still doing the same thing over and over again.
How can you guy find that engaging. There stories but they are so predictable that you cannot really enjoy them.
THen comes the community. Common. It's call an RPG...ROLE PLAYING game. Even on the Role play server people are not role playing. I tried to roleplay my character by giving a personnality (exagerated son of mom type of guy who always rely on what his mother said to him). Not only do people never played it through with me but a lot of them just didn't understand. ROLE PLAYING guys....playing the role of someone else in an environnement that does not contain any Hockey or baseball game, no car or modern object references.....play with your imagination and have fun with it. Otherwise go play on a non-role play server.
Anyway. Once I got to level 15 I decided to try and party with a group only to find myself deep into a caverne and seeing all my group leaving one after the other and leaving me battle an hopeless battle. I never went back to get my things and never played again.
I just don't see the fun in this game and the amount of time you have to invest in it (PAYING FOR IT) is not justifiable.
