I used to play the game in its prime. But if you ever try to go back, or start out as a new player, its just not a great game anymore. The only people that can really get the joy out of it are the ones that have been following it and all of its expansions since the beginning. Otherwise you feel like you are jumping into a fight that has been going on without you for years, you've missed out on things, everyone is ahead of you, and there's no sense in trying to catch up. I would tell anyone trying to get into an MMO to spend their time and money elsewhere. The only way I would go back to this game is if it came out as a FTP. And we know the money hungry Blizzard crew would never do that. This game is on its downfall, and its only a matter of time before multiple other new MMOs come out and crush it.
