Played WoW since the vanilla and the game is going down a bad path

I have played WoW since the launch of vanilla and I have good times with world of warcraft. It was an MMO that I spent most of my teen years on and I will never forget the fun and friendships I had in this game. Moving forward with that I am also bad at avoiding games that are being launched, especially MMOs. My friend talked me into playing for 1 month and if I disliked it I could quit. Now of course I am going to take an offer like that because it is free. I resubbed before the launch and played a few days of Cata. When MoP came out I set forth for the new continent only to find the area is filled with irritating bugs and issues. Ok it is launch and there are bound to be bugs. The quests are designed the way Cata set the scale for new quests and are still player friendly. You don't need a party for any of the quests and I can go back and forth on this. I like that I can level by myself sometimes because eventually people tend to annoy me, but sometimes I look for something more difficult to fight other than normal monsters (2-5 person quests). Moving along the new monk class is interesting to say the least because they are the first neutral race to be added to the game. The fact that everyone is playing one now bothers me. I understand people will play what they want to play, but this happend during wrath too and it was hard enough to get people to play their normal toons again. The new continent is beautifully designed because everything has a chinese/korean theme. The new race is also a tad bit interesting, but like said it can get irritating seeing the entire server playing as a single class/race. The new talent system is a big issue with the game which is now just a bunch of abilities and perks instead of boosts and procs. You have 3 options every 15 levels. The problem is it doesn't make me feel like my character is advancing and theorycrafting was fun. The dungeons were well designed at least in looks, but the content is really faceroll and requires minimal skill to complete even heroics. Raids are also boring and the mechanics (which was a big factor on my cancelation during cata) still seemed to be lacking invoation. Here are some other issues with the game that I had were... The mana pools being capped was frustrating because it felt like my character was no more powerful than another. Pet battles are something for a player to spend time on when there is nothing to do and brings the pokemon feel into wow, one issue is that players will be looking for the best monster make up and everything will be the same. Scenarios are good for casual players that dislike raiding, but otherwise once they have been completed at least once they tend to be very boring the next. Looking for raid is a new good adition to the game, but the face that you get paired with players that are usually brain dead is also a cause for concern. Once at endgame you will think you can go out and get tabards to complete factions for reputation, but the tabard system has been removed and now you are forced into doing dailies if you want to advance in rep and even get gear for badges. The one thing I didn't try was the pvp because I have a strong dislike for WoW's pvp now. World of warcraft has been a game that has brought so many gamers together and brought amazing amounts of fun to the table. Unfortuantly some gamers just grow out of series and are looking for new MMOs to find their own. 6.5/10
