I dont know what they were thinking with Gallywix. I wish they'd kill him and replace him already withone who's not evil and is actually in the game.

PatrilotIV posted...I honestly don't see why it WOULDN'T be Thrall again to be honest. Sylvanas doesn't care in the least bit about the Horde, Loth... whatever, Blood Elf guy is too much of a nobody, and I can't see Baine being it. Vol'jin.. I could MAYBE see, but then again Thrall would probably want to take over again to make sure something like this didn't happen a second time.
Thrall is beyond the Horde now. He is the leader of the Earthen Ring, he's the shaman of the whole of Azeroth. Like Malfurion, he isn't held to any 1 faction, he's beyond all factions, and it's fitting since he is allies to both Horde and Alliance. It will not be Thrall.
Rexxar is suppose to be coming back, and being that he's from Draenor, and was in the 2 first campaigns of the Horde, was trapped in Azeroth and is a true warrior of peace, he's a likely candidate.
The warchief HAS to be an Orc. It's the title of the leader of the orcs. The Horde was something that all warchiefs have created with Horde as the spear tip. Blackhand was first warchief (because the warlocks could manipulate him) but he brought in the Ogres to help, and Mok'nathal. Under Ogrim the Zandalari and the Goblins joined the horde, as well as using warlock magic to bring in the first death knights, orcs souls in human skeletons.
Thrall brought in the Darkspear, Tauren, and Forsaken. Then made an alliance with the Sin'dori. But still it was ORC lead.
So following the history, and the position, Warchief is an Orc title. And only an Orc shall hold it. Rexxar is half orc, but still Orc, and aware of the traditions of the warrior. Sadly I think Saurafang is out because he's too old, he'd make a great Advisor. Nazgrim if he doesn't become a villain as stated is a good choice because for the last 3 years we've followed his rise in the ranks rather closely, and he's got a good head on his shoulders. He does what he's commanded, but has also done things contrary to Hellscream's command when it is more beneficial to the Horde as a whole.
But right now it's still up in the air, which is exactly how blizzard wants it to be.

Either the stupid goblin or belf leaders for next warchief. That would make loosing theramore, wpl, hillsbard, and ashenvale worth it.

I'd like to see Saurfang or Rexxar return and assume the position of warchief, but I don't think either is very likely to happen.
If we're still accepting crackpot theories, I'd like to put Nathanos Blightcaller's name into the hat.

Tloya posted...See, I think the difference is Sylvanas isn't as comically arrogant and impulsive as Garrosh is and will have the good sense to not constantly attack other Horde races... not while the Alliance is still around, at least. Plus she's sort of buddies with Lor'themar.
Not comically arrogant? I dunno... I would say her obsession with that plague counts considering it has been the base of every forsaken military plan for the last two years and its worked a grand total of...once..at wrathgate when she wasn't even the one using it.

No thanks. I don't want a whole expansion centered on offing an emo villain yet again- won't be healthy to the story.

Chen is way too nice
That is why I feel it will be him. A new horde! Plus anyone who want to face him will get their faced punched in a thousand times over.
Honestly though I feel he is neutral enough to take over and already has history with thrall And vol'jin.

It worked pretty damn well in Hillsbrad and Southshore--and it wasn't the basis for her victories in Arathi and Andorhol.

Nobody ever mentions Ji Firepaw or Sassy Hardwrench ever. I think I saw one mention of Gamon. What about Hamuul runetotem, the previous Earthen ring leader? Garona? Dumass?!

Why not? He's one of the three that Thrall left to advise Garrosh besides Vol'jin and Baine.
Eitrigg would be awesome, if for nothing else other than to make up for his counterpart Tirion getting so much storytime in WotLK. I haven't played Horde high level - does he have a big role in Cata?

You know, I was going to say Eitrigg, but I don't know if he has a more neutral lean to him as well due to his connections with Tirion and the Argent Dawn/Crusade.
Saurfang has been noticably absent, and he has the strength to rule the Horde... or had. It's possible he just may never recover from the loss of his son.
Drek'Thar maybe, if he can get wheeled away from Alterac Valley, but he doesn't have long left.
Also why does it have to be an Orc? Because it was Orcs before? That was fine then it was just Orcs and then when Orcs were strongest one there is HULK SMASH. Ahem. But years have passed since the Darkspear and Tauren were indebted to the Orcs, and now they have The Incredible Hulk bossing them around, segregating races and treating anyone who isn't an Orc like trash. At this point, if they dethrone him, only to replace him with another Orc, the logical outcome would be civil war, but this IS Blizzard we're talking about, so really all bets are off.
