World of Warcraft should of stayed in BC.

User Rating: 4 | World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King PC
This is the 3rd expansion of the World of Warcraft(WoW) MMORPG. Created by Blizzard entertainment with very unfortunate Activision involvement. Released Nov 13th, 2008, this was supposed to be the most amazing xpac. The hype was incredible.

Graphics:6.5/10
Same WoW graphics you've had to endure since that game released. That is a redeeming quality about WoW, however. They give you so many tweaking options for WoW you could probably run it on a microwave. Of course it makes sense, more systems to run it means more subscriptions.

Sound:8/10
Contains a very nice orchestrated score. Also includes pretty extensive voice acting a series first(sorta). The melody of Grizzly Hills will not leave your head for a long period of time.

Gameplay:4.5/10
Here is where WoW fell off a cliff. In the last xpac, Burning Crusade(BC), classes has advantages and disadvantages, just as you would expect. With WotLK, Blizzard felt the need to homogenize classes to a almost ridiculous extent. All the classes that had ups and downs where no more, every class preformed more or less the same. Sure, its great if you preform better, but its just a completely boring concept. As a hole it seems WotLK xpac ushers in a new era of "catering to the casuals" as the hardcore things of BC are a long forgotten memory of the past. No more attunements, no more rep grinds for heroics. Nothing. Even pvp got crapped on. Everything became more simplistic in PVP requiring only a few button presses to destroy anything with WotLK's new crazy unbalanced damage. PVP went from a game of 'chess' to 'Battleship' In this xpac, its a worthy note that blizzard did introduce a new class; the Death Knight.

Replay Value: 5/10
Endless daily quests over and over doing the same heroics over and over, the same raids every week. After a long period of time it really gets to you.

Bottom line:4/10
A complete disaster of a otherwise excellent game. Activision's greed has ruined another top of the line product. Give Activision another year or 2 and CoD is going to be sailing up the same stream as WoW is. Regardless I recommend you skip over this. If you must play WoW do it on the many many private servers for free. Google is your friend, mates.
