Noob Question?

Will my characters from the first game be sent to the Burning Crusade file?

What happens is the Burning Crusade install is really only a way for Blizzard to check to see if you've paid to go to Outland, or if you can start a blood elf/draenei character. All your current characters remain unchanged after installing the expansion.

    Yes, if you've played with the basic version and then update that account to Burning Crusade, all your characters will be preserved and ready to proceed to level 70. If I don't remember incorrectly, you even get 2 more empty character slots.

    sure it is.
    you'll never even notice that you passed to the BS, but after the install you'll be able to go to outland and etc.
