Vice Presidents of Blizzard, Rob Pardo and Chris Metzen, discuss the importance of context and themes adding to the game experience, how shocking it is that geek culture has become popular culture, and being inspiring role models.
So much "I" and "we." Story-drive, average-gameplay games most definitely appeal to a sizable portion of gamers. That not something I'd expect Blizzard to understand since I consider the story of all their pre-WC3 games to be sub-par. It's the reason why I never got into Blizzard.
