This game is one big GLITCH, with online play that doesn't even work!
THE GOOD
This game has a career mode which is very inventive and lets you have the option of buying things from a pawn shop and upgrading your pad You also have a set amount of money with which you buy things from the pawn shop and also use for buy-in money for poker games. If you go broke and have no money left you also use the pawn shop to get loans. The career mode has tournament games and basic games in the basement of where you live. so there are different ways to earn money. An interesting mini-game was added for when you play certain hands certain ways to show a reaction to the other players. For example to act like your bluffing, to just straight up show (with your facial expressions and body language) what hand you really have, or to have that good old fashioned poker face.
THE BAD
This game has so many glitches it's not even funny. There are multiple times where the game would completely freeze and you would have to completely power down your psp. The game seems like it didn't have anyone actually play the game when it was finished before releasing it. I had to restart the same tournament at least twenty-five times. That was extremely frustrating. I sold this game no more than two weeks after getting it. For those of you who wander, the game was bought BRAND-NEW, so it wasn't like there was something wrong with it.
THE MULTI-PLAYER
This simply doesn't work, I tried everything I could just to create an account, Once I finally created an account it said that account didn't exist for days. Then When it finally recognized it, it kept giving error messages while trying to log in. At this point there was no hope, I was never able to log-in. I don't even think the on-line would have been that great, due to the fact that it probably would have froze up all the time!
OVER-ALL
This game would have been the best poker game I've ever played if I didn't have to deal with a screwed up multi-player, and a glitch infested career mode. Unless you like dealing with having to replay the same tournaments and poker games 30 times over, DON'T BUY THIS GAME!
