Okay, but not great

So, here's my 3rd game review for a poker game, and it just so happens to be World Championship Poker 2: Featuring Howard Lederer, although I haven't caught a glimpse of any poker pro in the game yet, and I probably never will. WCP2 is vastly improved from the 1st game, with a great twist on things. You first start out in your mother's basement with the dudes playing cards. After winning a tournament in your basement, tournament director Matt Savage takes you under his wing and shows you the ropes and the world, with just exotic locales as London, Moscow, and some other cities. You create the character from a wide variety of clothes, hair, and body types. Hmm... do I wanna be skinny or fat? Once you've done that, it's time to shuffle up and deal. The interface is great at first, but once you're getting into more challenges, you HAVE to learn more types of poker. No excuses. So if you're crappy at Omaha Hi/Lo, then you're f**ked, and can't advance through the game until you win. Another interesting feature is the bluffing-minigame interface that's activated every single time you check with the best hand, or bluff. What **** so hard with this is that it's mandatory, so you're going to lose every single time, and the only way you'll be able to counteract your n00bness is to buy attributes to slow it down and make some of the areas on the game bigger. There's also online play here, but I haven't played it. So that's pretty much it. It's okay, average, but not great. Worth a rental.
