Good poker game, but no in-game saves a huge downside.

For the most part I like this game. But there's one thing they failed to consider when making this game for PSP. Most people using a PSP are probably on the move, be it riding in a car or plane or train, and as such, the windows for playing games is not neccesarily really long. To that end, the lack of the ability to save in the middle of a tournament is a huge black mark on this game. Either I have to put my PSP in power save mode (and it still eats the battery all day while I'm at work), or I have to lose the game.

I've played video poker games built for Windows Mobile, and they all allow for stopping and saving in-games. Why they wouldn't add that for this portable medium is a head-scratcher. If they'd fix this issue in the next version, it will be a lot better.

The gameplay and loading times are a little slow, and the player comments are just plain annoying. But those don't take away from the game itself, and the AI is one of the toughest ones I've played against.

I'm going to be looking at the upcoming poker releases and see if they have the in-game save ability, but if you have time to play a full game (maybe an hour or more) at a time, then this is a good game.
