What the heck has BO2 to do with this game? Why do people keep comparing the scores for the 2? 8.0 is far too much for yet another first person boring shooter. 8.0 is too low for a new IP with a new, interesting, innovative idea like Wonderbook. So enough about BO2, I just wish I was still a kid (or had some) to play this game!!

This is one of very few videogames in this 2012 that is worthy to take a look.Since the e3 I was excited no matter how much overlooked was. It's a pity all the bad releases like COD BO2,diablo3,RE6,Fable kinect and so on, that are totally worthless and sooo overhyped thanks to viral marketings and games like this wonderbook are ignored.

HA! Finally the Move shows it potential!. Not perfect but this game is sure to be a predecessor to a small Revolution in gaming the Wii started. More adult content and this gadget will be praised as it deserves. Magical and Great game for kids and Magic lovers :)

Got to say.. not a fan of motion controls in general, and i'm not really a big harry potter lover either.. however i will give praise where it's due.

Game looks VERY good, and does seem to have been made with a lot of care and attention, it's not just some cash cow.

Sure it'll make a lot of kids happy anyway :)

I work at a family library where we have both a Wii and a 360 with Kinect to entertain our after school kids.  This would be an excellent game to have for the kids to play if only we could a PS3.

i DIDNT expect this to actually get above a 6 on the score. Well like they always say never judge a book by its cover. HA

Well i didnt expect them to do so well with it.Color me impressed. I think plenty of children will enjoy this and soak hours into it.

Even better most children have the attention span of a gnat and memory of a 80 year old so it will be a "new" experience every time.

Well done.

I'd be kinda interested in this if I didn't have to look at myself as I played. Urrch.

Too childish for my taste, but it's nice to see a developer that takes the time to utilize the move properly.

I would love to know how much Sony paid for the rights to the Harry Potter brand - they must have paid out an absolute fortune for that.

Production costs would be massive as well judging by the quality.

This game needs to sell a lot to break even I reckon.

@ecurl143 I don't know. I see this as mutual beneficial; Sony makes a game based on apopular series and the series gets more attention, publicity and the oportunity to get more popular.

Seems like a good game if I had small children to get it for.

An 8 eh? You may want to tell the people in the video this is a great game because they just look bored and confused.

I feel Wonderbook is something aimed at the family/children audience, and Book of Spells for Harry Potter fans. It's not a game for everyone and definitely not hardcore gamers, but Wonderbook in general has a good potential as an educational tool for kids.

still can't get over black ops 2 and the wonderbook getting the same score

@obsequies Different games aimed at different purposes. Can't truly compare.

@obsequies hard to tell if that means they are equally bad or equally good.

(Though that's now how I interpret review scores)

Maybe people should start injecting some sense into their heads. A score only determines wether or not a game is solid, it shouldn't determine wether or not you look the game. If you're a shooter fan (and not a CoD hater by default) there's a reason to buy CoD or Battlefield, and not Solider of Fortune, if you're a racing fan there's a reason to buy Need For Speed or Forza (one is arcady and the other simulation i know, but their solid) - and if you like these weird move games, then there's a reason for you to buy this. It's like buying books - you wouldn't buy a book about political science, if you love biology.

Sometimes though, you take a risk and dive into new stuff, and this is why reviews are good: maybe you didn't care much for move games, but this seems solid, so you try and like it - or maybe it didn't work for you, simply because it's never been in your interrest at all, and you just took a chance.

Seems cool but also it's the kind of game I wouldn't play much.

I agree with most the people here in that the game doesn't look that fun for me.  However, the tech looks really cool.  So I wonder if they can come up with some more adult orientated games that take advantage of it.

So, this is an 8.0, RE6 is a 4.5 and ACIII is an 8.5... Well I don't see what criteria is used to qualify games.

Either way, this is not my kind of game. I have the PS Move, and I like the Harry Potter story. But this just doesn't interest me. It's one thing to see the movies/read the books, but this is more oriented towards kids. But I would probably buy it if I were 13 years younger...

However, I support this game and all the other games/educational material that will be release for this Book. I think it's important to get some instructive material into the video games universe. Nowadays more and more kids jump into the video game universe, and I believe this is way better than CoD and the likes. Plus, it's way more appealing to children because it's something they can interact with.

@DiamondDM13 Because Resident Evil 6 is an action/shooter/survival horror game. This is an augmented reality children's game. They aren't at all comparable in their content. Hence why a 4.5 for RE6 bears absolutely no relation to an 8 for this.

@markypants Hence why I said I don't see what criteria they use to evaluate games...

@DiamondDM13  @markypants It's pretty simple to figure out the criteria really: Is the game good or not?

It doesn't matter the genre or how it compares to other games. Is the game well made and entertaining for its intended audience? This review says "Yes".

I really hope they go further with this for kids. Maybe allow them to travel through space, see 3D models of the galaxy and other things. that would be pretty cool. ;p

cant imagine this game is a 8 though

i also CAN imagine some of the horrible scores this turd biscuit will recieve

@TheZeroPercent Keep in mind this is for Harry Potter fans and children, not you mate. Though you talk like one XD
