Still graphically charming, tighter controls, and a face-lifted soundtrack compared to its SEGA counterpart.

I'll keep this brief as I'm not done with the game, but having played some of the older games in the series I'll say this: This game has- hands down- the best music in the entire series. Beside the alterations from its Genesis and Master drive ports (including being renamed "The Dynastic Hero" and minor palette swaps done to some of the characters) this version has the soundtrack that will keep you coming back more often than the game play. Not to say that the game play is contrived or weak, but its certainly not taxing in terms of difficulty. The graphics aren't particularly better or worse than the Sega Genesis port, but they have a certain charm to them. If you had played them side by side back in the day- it just wouldn't have been noticeable. Of course now side-by-side they were both strong ports, but their is more to love about the PC-Engine version after all is said and done. Like I said before, main attraction here, is definitely the music. Its not a hard game, but its cute, fun and simple. Something thats hard to come by these days.
