- The Bottom Line:
- "Solid"
I have given this game a good playthrough, except for the online component.
This game is prob one of the best looking games so far on the vita. The gameplay is very solid and a joy to play.
Some people complain about the tracks being too tricky, but I think they are really well thought out designs that make you think. Its all about getting used to the tracks and learning to make the right decisions at the right times to get the best exit speed on the corners. For new commers to the franchise, this may take a little while.
Hitting the right combo of either offensive/defensive weapons, or speed pads is quite tricky with all the chaos that goes on. But when you do, its so satisfying.
The only gripe I have, is the repetitive nature of the game. You do unlock faster vehicles and more complex tracks, but its still the same old formula. That said, I will play GT PSP with the same cars around the same tracks till my hands go numb.So I guess long term playability its very much down to personal preference of this style of racing.
I have not found and glitches or frame rate drops. The game itself is very polished and I highly recommend this game, for the racing enthusiasts or people wanting to show of the new console.

Not a bad WipEout game for the Vita but can get real frustrating and track design can be confusing.
