A part of me was hoping for something at least resembling a Wing Commander game. I knew there was going to be a problem when within ten seconds of playing the demo I realized that my sense of nostalgia hadn't been this badly abused since the I found out the Doom Movie was going to have nothing to do with hell-spawned demons. This is a hastily slapped together cheap bag of crap aimed at making money off of an acquired name. No doubt whoever was running this little project will blame the franchise itself for it's failure, and not their inability to make money off of what was once one of the biggest names in a major market segment. This was worse than the Wing Commander movie. At least that had overgrown grumpy kitties out for human blood.
