A game with some potential and something special

First off, I am going to say the Wild Arms games have had it's ups and downs. I personally was a little shakey on the buying it. I was very surprised at how the game turned out. I only have 11 hours into the game and the story is really picking up. Personally I like the characters and think that they aren't bad. The battle system to my opinion, is different. Different can be good or bad depending on the game. I like this battle system because it is original. Their are seven hexagons and when a battle starts you are randomly put on one. From their it pretty much explains itself. You can move one hexagon each turn or more. When you run out of bullets, your gun turns into a weapon like a sword for instance. I like that about this unlike in Wild Arms 3 where you attack with the gun. The exploration to me is similar to Wild Arms 3. You can now Double-Jump, Dash etc. Bottom line the graphics aren't bad. I like them personally. To end my review, I'm going to have to say if you like RPG's your in for a treat. At 39.99 I think it is a great game to purchase. You might be dissappointmented if you expect too much. I say buy it and try something different.
