This game was actually pretty good but the character design is creepy and awful.

If you're expecting just another generic platforming game for the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, then you were expecting wrong. Wik is an entirely new game, a breath of fresh air sort of. It's just that even as innovative as the concept and control system is, the game just wasn't enough. So to contro, you don't move left and right or walk around, you jump. You aim your jumps by aiming first with the left analog stick. And then when you have decided where you want to aim, you press the A button to jump up, left or right. You jump on obstacles and you can also press the B button to use a grappling hook-like item to swing around. You can eat bugs and catch grubs with the Y button and you have to catch grubs and keep them away from the bugs and then you feed them to a creature to get points. Once you've feed enough grubs you'll complete the levels. The graphics are pretty detailed but the character design is awful and the main character looks too fricken' scary! The sound is pretty good too.
Is it worth it? Yes if you're looking for a strange new possible "XBL Arcade sleeper of the year" nominee. Once again, try the demo first before you spend your beloved points because you may not like this game.
