    We need the AR. Disable patches when WFC is connected. AND NO NEED TO SOFT-MOD THE CONSOLE!

    The Money Tree technique can and also CANNOT, be a good technique.
    For every 1,000 bells you add a 1% chance that the money tree will grow. Which isn't much, even when adding 10,000 bells to the ground, your still only at 10%. Do I recommend this method? Absolutely not! However, If you already have a considerable amount of money and you, say want to make a video or show off to your friends of course! Good method, for bragging of course. If you truly want money, go with the exploit provided by the video

    @avni. way to be wrong. if you plant a 10k money tree. If it grows and has the money, it will only give 3 10k bags. not 3 30k bags.

    The problem with that technique is that the tree doesn't always grow, and sometimes when it does, it doesn't sprout money.

    This is jank everybody!!! Instead of changing the date you can plant a money tree. Trust me I've done it. And what have you got to lose. What you do is take out 10,000 bells of your wallet. Then you dig a hole. Bury the money, and in a few days you have a money tree. You shake the tree and comes down 90,000 bells!!! Plant as many as you want. If you don't believe me try it yourself. Imagine, you could become rich in 3 days!! And you don't have to deal with the roaches! What would you rather do? *cough cough do the tree. lol.

    Wrecked69, I must say this does work. BUT!!! You could just change the in-game clock (time-travel) and just not pick the weeds, if you have the golden can. If not, it's not hard. I picked all my weeds in abouut 30 mins. Over a few days, its not bad. But, can you get several letters that say 99,999 bells?? OR just the one? If 1, it's not wirth it. If several, this is an exploit.

    I did this. It works pretty well and it's useful. Since it will mess up your town if you do this, I'd suggest only doing it if you're gonna start over anyway. That way you can give all the money you earn from this to a trusted friend to hold in the meantime.

    Time-changing - something anyone who has played this series before already knows and probably uses just to get the next day's shop contents. The 'damage' to the town isn't an issue. The odds are good you're going to just plain not-play this game for weeks at a time *anyway*...

    LMAO corny ass video..... explains the whole cheat to get only 99,999 (or whatever) bells ! then goes and says that it might not be worth to the damage made to your town.... THEN wat is the point of showing this !

    Very stupid video, and pointless to do this. Why get the game? It's kindof like that loser from WOW who got to lvl 80 in 27 hours.

    Why don't u just use the in game clock to change the time? it's faster since u wont need to leave the game and it wont screw up ur time on ur system
