    *to slick* lmao dont count on it coming out on the cube. that would defeat the purpose of coming out with a new system if the games for it were playable on the old one.

    He probably doesn't have a lot of formal training in speaking English.

    When I was learning Japanese (formally) it was a hell of a lot easier to understand my sensei speaking Japanese than it was to reply back to him or her in Japanese.

    Do you think that the new Zelda Wii game will come out on the Gamecube also? Cause some people can't afford the Wii. It would be cool if they had a version of the new Zelda game on the gamecube for those of the people who don't own a wii anyone agree with me?

    @Egamer300:
    OoT was not the original zelda game. And they already gave many references to OoT in Alttp (which is strange, that came out BEFORE OoT), TWW, etc.

    And also, the last boss is either Ganon or not. The story kinda revolves around the three triforces. Though after looking at Link's backstory in TWW, and what happens at the end of TP, as well as the cut text, there is a possibility of Ganon being eliminated.

    And also, there were more gammes where Ganon was gone.

    I really love the idea of a new zelda, in my opininion LoZ: OoT was probably the best game I've ever played, I think they should go back to the basics on this one, but not too much i just think that they should take out the whole turning into a beast thing and not make the gameplay strictly motion control, I also think they should give reference to the original zelda game (OoT) through the story of the game such as talkin about the legend of the great hero who once saved Hyrule from impending doom and vanquished Ganondorf or something like that, I also think that the story should be something other then saving the princess from ganadorf or even eliminate ganondorf altogether, because seriously he's been in every game except one to date I think we could use another more chaotic, smarter, and pshycotic main boss, but im not saying eliminate ganondorf altogether just dont give him the lead enemy role this time, give him a part such as zants in twilight princess, he starts out as the boss but then a bigger boss emerges who is greater then him

    I agree with shabulia to an extent. I would love to see New SMB Wii go online. Even without the online support that Sony and Microsoft have, for now, the Wii is doing fine. I CAN see Nintendo pushing for more online play when the next-gen Wii is released...

    While I love Miyamoto-san, I have to say that I don't see why he and Nintendo won't push for stronger online support. It just doens't make sense how they insist on staying behind the competiton.

    I don't think they really need to change LOZ, i dont see why they would need to "amp" up anything. Zelda was never really about the way link could jump from platform to platform, he's used hack and slash combat from day 1. what matters is the story, and how it sucks you in and doesn't let go.

    the last zelda was good, but in my opinion, it was always running to a dungeon, not enough story telling.

    I'm looking forward to a great story and a fully orchestrated sound track

    LoZ has been my favorite series since OoT and im very excited about an upcoming LoZ. I love how the game has evolved over the years and I cant wait to see how this one turns out. But in market where games like Fallout 3 and MGS4 have made such a huge impact, LoZ is really going to have to amp up everything in order to appeal to the hardcore gamer and stay family friendly. I would like to see a bigger, almost limitless hyrule, keep to the traditional dungeons, but raise the stakes with real decision making that can actually impact the flow of the game, something along the lines of Fable perhaps. Also the storyline needs some touching up, maybe with an older Link, early to mid 20's, and some sort of personal crisis that would warrant an emotional vendetta of sorts. I do want the game to go back to emphasazing the powerful role music plays in traditional LoZ games, and it would be interesting to see Link's triforce of courage actually do something. Regardless of how the game turns out, I'm sure fans of the series will not be disappointed.

    I am afraid for Metroid. It is just one of those games that needs to remain as a FPS/platformer/sidescroller. Not just little gimmicks at certain points that requires FPS or something.

    Anyways, I don't care much for the motion+. They could have, or should have had that from the start. I want to know if this Wii Vitality will be a waste of money.

    It would be nice if they'd abandon this casual-friendly bull ****. I understand how incredibly lucrative it is, but it's like Michael Bay movies. They make a ton of money, suck dick, and get forgotten in two years.

    On the new Zelda game it would be great is they bring back the ocarina or any cool instrament, and I really love the option to change into a beast. I love the horseback opn TP and the wolf form they were great, It would aslo be great if they brought back the option to wear masks for any reason or to show hidden items for previous games in places. Also to have the colors of tunics plus adding some extra features after beating the game or a second quest. You gotta love the orignal weapons and the old music in new style as on TP.

    Unless its a sequel to Twilight Princess I wont bother playing it. You cant build up Links personal relationships and just stat him over like nothing happened. In TWP link actually showed emotion towards people, unlike any of his previous games. TwP>WW

    2010 will be Nintendos year, Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Monster Hunter "though a lot of you probably don't know much about monster hunter or like it I'm guessing", as someone mentioned below, Pikmin. There's probably tons more. I've for some reason been having an urge to play my wii again after all this time, playing through some Metroid Prime 3

    What about Kratos in a shooter?
    The flames are needed,but no console is the best.Everyone has it's qualities.If you say Nintendo sucks,just remember you play Halo because of Metroid.God of War because of Zelda.And thank Mario for ALL the games you play today

    I can see both sides of the arguments below. I wish the Wii would come out with more original games like NMH, Madworld, etc. But it doesn't change the fact that mario, zelda, and metroid games are still entertaining. In my opinion Nintendo is just trying to widen it's playability for all kinds of players, from hardcores to casuals alike. I don't see Microsoft or Sony doing that.

    The new Zelda game will be ruined by the wii's stupid,gimmicky,motion controls.What Nintendo doesn't know is that just because motion controls work for wii sports,wii play,wii music,etc.(which are all just ridiculously stupid if you ask me) that doesn't mean it will work for a GOOD game like Zelda.The Wii is killing all of Nintendo's good games.

    Umm, yeah, Nintendo didn't invent any genre they're famous for. I guess it could seem that way if you came into video games late, and don't bother to learn any gaming history. I was a huge Nintendo fan for many years, but let's be honest... all they do now is retread the same tired ground over and over and over. They used to actually design new IPs. Believe it or not, Mario, Zelda, and Samus weren't bequethed to us from the ancient stargods. Nintendo used to come up with new ideas and then make games out of them. That was back when Miyamoto actually WAS a genius, instead of being a tired old hack trying to coast along on franchises from the Reagan era.

    Most likely going to be down rated for this, but it needs to be said. The console is at it's limitations. All Miyamoto can think of is create bizarre additions to the console. Wii Vitality? Get real. Giving Team Ninja Metroid is in the right direction, but it will not draw in anyone above casual alone. Mario Galaxy 2 will be a flop(again), but it sell well because of fan over hype.

    @hozboo

    That's jumping the gun a bit too far. They helped revive gaming in 1985 when it was on the brink of being lost, but they didn't invent any genre. Platformers, RPG's, action games, puzzle games, and racers were around long before Nintendo entered the market with the Atari, PC, Odyssey and commodore 64.

    "And Zelda games need to just go a completely different path than they have been ever since the first game. No more Link as the main character would be a good start, let Zelda get her well earned time in the spotlight, make her the heroine like in the old comics and cartoons already so the games might be worth playing for once!"

    I dunno about the rest of you, but to me, Zelda games are really Link games. Its just a title. Mario games could have put "peach" in the title but they didnt, mario is the lead role. link is the lead role, and he always should be and hopefully always will be. when i think of LoZ, i think link, an iconic hero, prancing around a forest in his green garbs Anyway, Link is my favorite character of all time, he can't not be in a zelda game. sorry, if that happened, it would suck. But look at MM, link's awakening, and the oracle games (unless you played one after the other w/ the linking password), in those games, zelda isn't there, and yet, those games are still awesome zelda games lol. and ganon isn't in them either come to think of it lol. So yeah, Link needs to be the one character that stays, because he is the hero, and always will be.
