I just rented this game and it's not too bad...it's not good but it's worth trying. I can't believe Nintendo thought this game was sooo amazing. It's fun for a few days then you get bored...thats about all there is to it

Siefer the Wii only beats xbox and ps3 because it is cheap, and family oriented. No other reason. The wii IMO sucks. Nintendo is failing, first the gamecube now THIS... I have played all 3 systems, i honestly prefer the PS3.

I remember watching the Nintendo E3 showcase and thinking it couldn't get any worse until they introduced this "game". I guess it's just as bad as I expected it to be. Looks totally lame.

I got this game and it really did get old quickly. That is why I set that down and used my Wii Points I got for Christmas on some WiiWare titles. Which are actually much better! Funny that some of the downloadable titles are better off than the "released in stores" games.

Hey kids now you can play 30 plus public domain songs and the characters look like veggietales versions of you!
now go buy our system and crap games!
especially if you are a casual gamer because then we can make more profits than real systems like 360 and ps3.
BTW wii is just a repackaged gamecube

wow dortega120, you're being way over dramatic.

First off, the atari was king s*** of the consoles back then. It was really the only console out. Second, it was a huge amount of craptastic games being released consecutively that caused the crashed, which then took Nintendo to pick up the pieces. Also, I'd note that Wii is killing the 360 and PS3 COMBINED in sales and has been since its release. Once again its going to be on nintendo's shoulders to carry this gaming generation through hard times. So it goes to show you that it takes innovation to make a great system. Not "Whose got the best Halo-Gears of War game" system.

ps I own all 3 systems

  • dortega120

    Posted Dec 13, 2008 6:24 pm PT

This is the reason why I bought a PS3 instead of the Wii, and that is because of crap like this. I mean it is innovative, but at the same time, it just does not seemed aimed towards hardcore gamers, who I believe are what keeps the game industry alive. Crap like this what caused the Video Game Crash of 1983. This game should not be retailed. It should've been packaged along w/ Wii Sports in the Wii. The only games that nintendo should retail are games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Super Smash Bros.

Advice to Wii owners: The upcoming game I would recommend is The Conduit. It looks to be like Nintendo's Halo or Killzone and is one of the type of games that should be in stores.

when will nintendo realize that if they keep making games that are complete mindless button pressing messes of hype that they will lose the hardcore buyers. Lets see how good nintendo does when their most prolific buyers leave them to people that play games once a week.

What do people expect when they buy the wii???!!! I cant believe people are buying this, knowing its full of kiddie games, and then say a decent game doesnt come out. Whats worse is that there are so many people buying it. wii = kids 8 and under

Oh and Mastino420, what exactly is the "next level"?

  • Mastino420

    Posted Oct 26, 2008 7:48 pm PT

Wow this is great...for Leapfrog. Seriously I wonder if they even realize that the Wii isn't that new anymore and they need to start releasing games with a at least a gram of substance to them. This game reminds me of Wii Sports(which was great as a taste of things to come), it showcases what the system can do but it doesn't fully deliver all that is expected from the system at this stage in its life. They need to start releasing games without the, "hey look at what you can do with your controller on the Wii," and move to the next level. Once they start releasing games that have more depth and story then I might consider buying a Wii. Until then I'll stick to my PS3 and games with story and depth.

Well, I like how they put in the thing with matching the pitch, unlike GH and RB, but really I don't need this game. I'm a musician already and I don't need to play this or GH/RB.
