AU Shippin' Out January 22-January 1: Rez HD

Another cult hit makes its way to Xbox Live Arcade.

This week sees only a trickle of games coming out over our land of golden soil. Rez originally came out in early 2002 on the DreamCast and is now making its way onto the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. The game is set in a futuristic computer supernetwork called K-project. The system has been overwhelmed by information and is about to enter a shutdown, which will have catastrophic consequences. You take on the role of a hacker who logs into the machine, in an attempt to prevent the shutdown and eliminate the viruses that inhabit it. Rez HD's graphics are uniquely stylised with bright colours and lines. To complement this, the game features a fitting trance soundtrack. Rez HD will be availble on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft points.

Next week sees a flurry of big games coming out down under including Burnout Paradise, Turok, and Devil May Cry 4. Be sure to check back next week for more information and confirmation of all the week's releases.

    Actually REZ first came out for the dreamcast, not the PS2, and they actually had a vibrator for women that plugged into the DC in Japan! Way to have your facts straight GS!

    Wouldn't mind picking up Capcom vs SNK: Card Fighters - the ones on the Neo-Geo Pocket were great fun.

    This looks fun its just too bad its on the Xbox 360 as that means I will probably never play it.

    Tomb Raider: Anniversary (Wii) has been out since November. I bought it back then.
