AU Shippin' Out June 16-20: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Square Enix's popular handheld RPG finally gets released down under.
The PSP is about to add another game to its strong list of titles released in 2008, with Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII finally being released in Australia. Set seven years before FFVII, Crisis Core puts you in the role of Zack, a 2nd class SOLDIER within the Shinra Electric Power Company. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will be available as a stand-alone game for A$69.95 ($65.67) or in a PSP bundle for A$319.95 ($300.40), which includes a copy of the game and a limited-edition 10th Anniversary PSP Slim.
Following from last week's release of Ninja Gaiden II for the 360 is Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the Nintendo DS, the franchise's first outing on the platform. Set six months after Ninja Gaiden, you again play as Ryu, who has just rebuilt his home village of Hayabusa. When a female villager/ninja is kidnapped by the Black Spider Ninja Clan, Ryu takes it upon himself to rescue her. Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword comes out this Thursday.
And just when we thought that Sony would be shifting their focus over to digital distribution for SingStar games, they come along with SingStar: Vol. 2 for the PlayStation 3. The game contains a total of 30 tracks, ranging from Aerosmith to The Offspring and The Cure. If you already have microphones, the game will set you back A$59.95 ($56.29), or $109.95 ($103.24) for the game and two mics.
