    I got to play Brawl for about 3 hours tonight, a friend of a friend works at Hasting's, and Diddy Kong surprised the hell out of me. He's pretty awesome, but for some reason I don't think he's gonna get the attention he deserves. He doesn't seem to be on many people's most-hyped-for lists.

    is it safe to say any char is good once u kno how to use them??? im not sure if this is right i never played melee to kno >_<

    Yeah, I'd say that's safe to say. I figured I'd be more of a natural with guys like Olimar and Sonic since I know their movesets thanks to thew Dojo, but I wasn't able to do much with either of them. Make no mistake, Olimar's gonna take a lot of practice. He can rack up lots of damage, but he doesn't have many KO moves. Diddy was pretty natural, and Pit wasn't too bad either. Also, Lucario feels pretty similar to Mewtwo as far as physics and feel, so he wasn't too bad.

    sadly no, go pick up melee and try beating a good falco player with mewtwo.

    Btw as far as the competitive players go diddy is actully shaping up to be the new fox of the game, alot of ppl are assuming him to be high-top tier.

    If the Mewtwo player is experienced too, it's not too hard. I know because Mewtwo was my main. Fox, Marth, Falco? A breeze.

    Oh, and Bowser is seriously buffed. I'm not gonna call him top tier or anything, but he's far from a laughing stock now.

    And DeDeDe is incredibly stong. You can KO guys at 60% almost with ease.

    This. Everyone expects Diddy to be really high, perhaps even top. He's certainly not underrated. It's just that fewer people are interested in playing as him in comparison to other characters. I main Toon Link, but if I get sick of him, I may end up switching to Diddy depending on how his banana usage evolves.
