    I am so blown away by this!!! I had no idea team ninja was "teaming" up on a Nintendo on a 1st party title, what an incredible idea. This game wasn't even on my radar, but it sure is now! I had all but written the Wii off for all their gimmicky/franchise cashing games but looking at this video it looks like they may still be able to make some REAL video games.

    Ninja Gaiden meets Metroid? I'm impressed, finally some innovation we can appreciate.

    what i want to know is if this game is in mainly 3rd or 1st person gameplay cos i really love the 1st person play. It wud be cool if it only went 3rd person for the morph ball and melee combat or something like that but other than that i cant wait to get it!!!

    What a trip looking at Samus in lush, outdoor environments. And it looks to have a lot of plot and story...almost an anime tone to it (as opposed to the hauntingly silent worlds and mysterious plots). If you have played the side-scrolling platformers of old I think you can handle 3rd person. People freaked when the 1st person versions came out saying that they should stay side-scrollers. Just goes to show you that people will b*tch about anything and everything just to b*tch.

    That's absolutely true but this time, it's not only the gameplay which is changing but also the ambiance of the game.
    Like it or not but since the beginning there were a certain mystery around Samus and the Chozos and anyone could build his version of the story or paint the characters and their personnalities following the given skelleton.
    Anyway, it's sad that they decided to introduce a "hollywood" version of the game.
    It's like painting a black and white picture..... understand who can.

    The first person view was awesome in the end even if many had fear it, but what do we know if a third scrolling one wouldn't have been good also or even better?
    It's only depending on the talent of the developpers.

    Well I guess that now, we'll know.

    Is it just me or does the the guy in the uniform sound like Jack Bauer (or Keifer Sutherland)?

    Oh, and I guess the guy in the uniform is Samus's commanding officer, Adam Malkovich.

    I'm playing "Metroid Prime: Trilogy" and started playing my old copy's of Metroid Fusion (and on the virtual console the original Metroid & Super Metroid). Its one of the best game series I've ever played and I CANT WAIT for this one!!

    Hey guys I just realized that there isn't any sound in the standard definition version while there IS sound in the HD version. (Well at least for me anyway.) So you might want to try the HD version if u want sound.

    im very confident in this game as the lack of poor quality games produded relating to team ninja or metoid series is negligible.

    I'm not sure about this one, I personally like the firs-person view. Samus looks different, or maybe it isn't her. My guess is that it's not really her, but a family of some sort, like her daughter, but that doesn't really explain much. I'm just going off the video where it almost ends. I'm not sure, I'm just making a guess, but I do love the metriod series so I might get it.

    .... i don't know. I mean: I really like the quality of the work of team ninja... but i LOVE the actual gameplay and design of the recent metroid games.

    I'm not so sure about this, but i can be wrong. This game COULD be epic... and i could buy a second wii just by this.

    Samus is as hot as ever. Both as a woman and as a fighter. It looks like a great game. I just don't get the title. "Other M" sounds kinda...well...stupid, to me. Heck, they could call it "Metroid: Princess Party Deluxe Monster Shooter" and I'd probably get it if the game is as good as the trailer makes it look.

    It cant be better than that! Well done nintendo, the forgotten gamers -- like me, that you've excluded for the sake of the new ones in those last 5 years -- would never imagine to see metroid again on its NORMAL PERSPECTIVE, that deep on his origins. Thanks. I may buy a nintendo again without fear, like in the old times.

    Oh my god. Ive been waiting for a new metroid for forever. But im not completely happy that they are going 3rd person on the metroid fans. But other than that I AM TOTALLY PSYCHED! But no sound. Stupid Safari...
