Quantum of Solace filled with celebs

Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, and Olga Kurylenko from upcoming James Bond film lend voices, likenesses to Activision Blizzard's movie tie-in shooter.

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy being an exception to the rule, high-profile movie-to-game tie-ins have increasingly banked Hollywood talent. Activision Blizzard's upcoming James Bond: Quantum of Solace will continue to follow that trend. The publisher said today that it has secured the voices and likenesses of many of the top names featured in Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale for its upcoming shooter.

As could be surmised by previously released screenshots, leading man Daniel Craig (Layer Cake, A Kid in King Arthur's Court) will reprise his role as the suave secret agent James Bond in the game, and he will be joined by the latest Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko (Hitman). Judi Dench (Chocolat, The Chronicles of Riddick), who portrays hard-edged Bond boss M in the films, will also appear in the game, as will 007's newest nemesis Dominic Greene, played by Mathieu Amalric (Munich).

Given that the Bond game spans both Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale, a few familiar faces from the first film will also make an appearance. Eva Green (Kingdom of Heaven, The Golden Compass), aka femme fatal Vesper Lynd, will join Casino Royale antagonist Mads Mikkelsen (King Arthur) as Le Chiffre in lending their voices and likenesses to the game.

James Bond: Quantum of Solace for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC will accompany the silver-screen premiere during the week of November 4. Of note, Treyarch, which is developing the 360 and PS3 editions of the game, has implemented the Call of Duty 4 game engine to power Quantum of Solace. Is Olga the new Bond girl? I wish they didn't kill off the last one from Casino Royale.

I cant wait I'm really happy that the game has the real voices and likeness as the major characters from both Bond 21 and Bond 22. This is going to be the best Bond game since Goldeneye for sure

This game looks great but I shouldn't hype it that much, most movie games suck.... I will wait for reviews.

Goldeneye on the N64 was the best Bond game to ever be released and will stand the test of time against crazy upstarts like this QoS game. However, using the CoD4 engine should give them a chance at still making a great game.

Well...even though, the game isn't very promising. Looking at the previous impressions, it's rather doubtful.

I wasn't that hopeful til I remembered it's using the IW CoD4 engine - surely they can't screw up too bad with that under the hood. And yes, Goldeneye was epic back in the day.

That's good. Hearing immitation voices in games can sometimes be quite painful.

Good stuff on here. Here's hoping this game can come close to imitating the classic N64 Goldeneye007. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
