The Nintendo Wii was the first console to bring out the motion sensor controls and because of this some users may of been afraid to buy games which focused too heavily on the motion censor controls. However, Wii Sports is the perfect introduction package to the Wii with five different sport games each being very simplistic but the games showcase the Wii's motion controls very well, and Wii Sports would probably be successful even as a stand alone game because of it's great multi player fun!
The sport games are much like the actual real life game for example with bowling you hold the remote up and then swing depending on how much you swing the remote means how much the ball actually swings however the controls are a bit shaky at times but hey! It's the Wii's first game, and they did a pretty decent job at it too.
All the Sport Games are very easy to pick up on and are definitely perfect for parties but if you want some extra practice Wii Sports offers a training mode where you can practice your skills. The game is perfect to play with friends however. The game also has a skill level so once you beat an opponent your skill level goes up and you verse harder opponents.
The graphics of the game are as simple as the game itself this works as a positive though since Nintendo has always been that family friendly console. The game is definitely a winner from Nintendo's point of view. The game is a must have for all Wii Owners and is the perfect game to play if you have a few friends over!

This was an excellent choice for a game to come with the first releases of the Nintendo Wii.
