A fun yet surprisingly challenging game that will seem boring at first but later on you will come back to it.

User Rating: 8 | Wii Music WII
Wii music is as you can tell a game where you play music with instruments but there's a little more to it rather than just playing instruments. It's also about making albums and making a song better by adding new or removing notes. Wii music lets you play how you want to play it gives you total control and that's how it should be, and it's backed up with heaps of encouragement that will keep you playing this game for a while.

You have a good amount of instruments to start off with and as you progress the instrument collection becomes larger and larger expanding your music style. The instruments sound real and include instruments that you may have not heard before these instruments can be as simple as a cowbell to as complex as a NES horn.

You start with a few songs to play and you choose one an example would be twinkle twinkle little star then choose an instrument and how many players or toot's. Toot's are backup singers that play the song perfectly but it's completely up to you how the song turns out. You get to choose any instrument mixed with any song and you will find the game allot more fun if you unlock more songs and instruments.

There are 4 sections in the game they are Jam, lessons games and video's
Jam is basically where you make music select a song and the instrument and then after the song if you liked it you may make a video of it and show it to your friends and family. It's the "heart" section of the game the main part and it's where you will spend most of your time.

Lessons is where you learn how to play you start with a basic lesson then as you progress you get to play an expand your style lesson. The instructor explains how to play music really well and it's really not hard to master the game so don't worry if you don't get it on your first go.

Video's is reviewing your recorded songs and rating them from 1 to 100 and ordering them you can send them to your friends via Wii internet. This is a good section that the game designers included its actually very useful and a great way to show off.

Finally games is one of the best sections in the game it lets you make an orchestra do a hand bell harmony or play a series of mini games in pitch perfect. These are the challenging sections and they are designed to keep you playing the game as I said before it's not only about playing instruments and it's a really good plus to the game.

A few faults in this game that could have been avoided but haven't. This game requires steady hand balance and if you're aiming for a song with perfect notes even a slight hand movement could ruin it you may hit a note early or too late. The game does take a while to get used to and in some sections of the game you won't know what to do because they barely explain it. As you progress and unlock more things you draw closer to the end until you are unable to continue because you've done everything you can and left everything you can't so they could of extended the game a bit.

Overall it's a good game but with a few noticeable mistakes it will keep you occupied for a few months but you will find it boring towards the end its great with family but boring by yourself.
