White knight chronicles 2 (or WKC2 for short) is the sequel to the underrated title of a simular name.
The story revolves around Leonard, a young lad who ends up gaining control of a ancient weapon known the White Knight and must do battle with the evil Graziel and his Yeshenia forces, Leonard is joined by Yulie, Caesar, Eldore, Kara and of course, YOU as you create your own characters to play with throughout the game.

The basis of the Gameplay is realtime RPG, you essentially run around a mapped area looking for monster, you engage them and proceed to battle them racking up more and more experience as you try to level up.

The maximum level has been increased from the previous game from level 50 to level 80 but the levelling doesnt stop there because you can "Rebirth" at level 80 back to a lower level whilst keeping your stats to increase your power more and more and theres isnt a real limit to how many times you can do this (so far the highest i see is 7 rebirths)

The attack system is both simple and yet complex to master, you first of all need to decide what your character will be (Mage, Healer or Weapon (deciding which weapon you would like to use) then accumulating enough skill points to put on certain attacks and stat boost ranging from 1 point to 10+ points.

Throughout the game there is 6 cities to visit were you can interact with citizens getting errands to do for items, exp and even the right of recruit them to your very own Geo or Hometown.

One of the more challenging parts to the game is the amount of levelling up stuff that you are required to do throughout the game including a Binding station were you have to donate items for points to raise the level or doing Quests to raise your GR level so that you can do more Quests and Level up your Geo level for your Hometown.

[Extras]

One of the key elements of WKC2 is the introduction of your very own Avatar Knight, this starts life as a lime green piece of armour however you can visit Black Holes during the latter part of the game to gain items to put upon the armour and from about GR 21 you can even change the colour of it, You can also name your Knight as many times you desire so you need not worry if you get tired of its name.

Another feature in the game is something that only happens when you have defeated the final boss, I wont say exactly what it is but lets just say it will keep you playing a little bit longer afterwards.

A cool part of the game is the fact it contains the original first game remastered so if you never played WKC1 before you will be able to experience it for yourself before taking on the challenge of the sequel

The biggest feature to the game is of course the Online feature which allows you and your Avatar to visit other people Geo, interact on a forum and most importantly go on Quests with 4-6 people depending on the quest.

[Review]

White Knight Chronicles 2 may not be the best RPG game to come out but then it doesnt claim to be either, its a game that you can pick up, play and meet fellow players who are enjoying it at the same time as you, its hard to say this game is a must buy however its definately worth looking at if you are like me a fan of RPG games
