Who doesn’t remember this game from their childhood? I remember first playing this in grade school. The player was granted a set time period in which he would gather clues and narrow the list of suspects in his quest to nab Carmen Sandiego.

As the player gathered clues regarding the suspect’s appearance, he could compare them to descriptions of the usual suspects. Additionally, clues would be gathered regarding where the suspect had traveled to, and the player would follow the suspect around the globe.

For an educational game, “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” was a really fun game. It was cool to test your wits against the game, and rise in the investigative ranks from gumshoe on up.
