Why Vin, Why!?
Everything it seems. Lets start by basics. This is a game called Wheelman and there are only 12 or so cars in game. Thats right.
Pontiac G8, Opel Astra (only 2 real), a van, a semi truck, clones of Smart ForTwo, Fiat 500, Porsche boxster, some small hatchback, small convertible, some old Rolls Royce lookalike with or without roof. Thats it.
Story is completely missing. The plot holes are so big it feels like someone took a 12guage shotgun to it and have some fun. Why is Milo in Spain? Why does he need to work for 3 different gangs? Why do supposedly dangerous gang leaders trust him even after he killed their members? There is just NO explanation at all.
Graphically this game is unbearable. City of Barcelona looks good in still shots. Colors are nice and vivid, textures are detailed and shadows are nice. But all the pedestrians, vehicles and characters look artificial. Beside that the game micro-stutters like crazy. Thats on Core2Quad 9650, GTX280, 4gb ram and win7 64bit, inexcusable.
Vin Diesel looks like someone pumped him full of air and is about to explode. And then dipped into ultra reflective blue oil just for fun..
Audio is mostly ok. Music is good but doesnt really match the game style. Vin does decent voice acting. Everyone else's is just ear-rape.
I uninstalled this game and threw away the dvd after 2nd day. Thats after 5-6 hours of total gameplay, which should be new record. Stay FAR away from this game.
