The more you play through the game the more weapons you find and more information you will gather about the characters. Your actions determine the events in the game and there are over 20 endings that will keep you hunting for the correct pathways to experience them all.
Money was unimportant in the first edition, however, money is very hard to horde in this installment. To earn money, you do jobs for various factions and gain favor with each successful completion. You can also sell items you pick up, smash objects to gain hidden loot or loot fallen corpses in the hopes of finding treasure. In addition to income jobs allow you to progress through more complicated story lines.
The weapons are diverse, yet expanding the weapon's skills are far more complicated then you would think - purchase scrolls to unlock techniques and kill people to level up your weapon.
This game will keep you occupied for several hours as you attempt to find the perfect weapons and customize your outfit as well as your fighting method. If you are unsure that you will enjoy this game, rent it first to decide. This installment is like a choose your own adventure book without the option to turn back the page when you reach a dead end (unless you choose not to save). Ultimately, its always fun to hack and slash mercilessly unfortunately, your score will be deducted for killing innocents and other villainous acts.
