Obviously the best in the trilogy, but once again lacking that important wow factor

Agetec and Acquire finally decided to portray the majority of the main characters a little more traditionally this time, and that goes for level design too. Obviously graphics and visuals are a step up from the previous two WOTS games. And a big (and I mean big) thank you for the best voice acting so far in the series. Players of the previous WOTS games will feel at home with the fighting engine--although it would have been nice to see an upgrade in that department. The game world is much larger, but there really isn't that much to do. Side-missions and mini-games get tedious really fast. However, the large number of different endings and vast character customization is a big plus. Overall, Way of the Samurai 3 is a nice (notice I did not say great) addition to the Way of the Samurai series.
