This is the Gamecube's best water racer.

User Rating: 8.9 | Wave Race: Blue Storm GC
With Wave Race 64 being a success on the N64 then of corse they would make a sequel and here it is and it it great. Here is why:

Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty awesome. But the game may feel repetitive and that is what makes you stop playing it. But the gameplay is still awesome. The controls feel smooth and not bad. The Racer selection may seem a bit small but it's not bad. And you get a small amount of courses but on different difficulties the map changes around. Which make it seem really different.

Graphics: Graphics are beautiful on here. The water is just gorgeous with all the ruffling waves splashing around everywhere. The racers got a lot of detail too. The courses look nice and bright too giviing you the feeling like it's an actual place you can go to.

Sound: The sound is also amazing. The announcer isn't as bad as other racers. You can hear the racer's jets loud and clear. The waves sounds are also very realestic. And whenever you hit a shortcut you can hear the objects you ram into perfectly.

Value: The game doesn't have musch value past its single-player mode. The single player though will having you coming back every once in a while after you put it down. The multiplayer isn't bad either but it is best to play with friends who know how to play then to send each one in to the tutorial.

This game overall is great. I recommend this to racer type gamers, but to others I recommend a rent.
