Who says hacking is for nerds?...

The Good:

Technology; It is the main and best feature of the game. It can be used as a weapon to distract, immobilize or kill enemies, method to hack in order to go through secured areas and gain information and money or a very enjoyable toy that can be used hack in to other people's privacy.

A whole new kind of stealth and tactics gameplay; rather than using traditional methods of smashing buttons to fight with weapons or a set of buttons to simply stealth attack from behind, the game introduces new stealth methods to take down enemies thanks to the tech the player has on his palm. In a certain area player can hack in to cameras to spy on the enemies and know their locations, distract them with their own self phones or vehicle alarms and kill them by triggering explosions. Character doesn't even need to move from where he is to do all of these. Not just in one area but this can be used in pursuits as well. Hacking bridges to stop enemy vehicles, hacking blockers, spike stripes, triggering steam pipe explosions to immobilize enemies or blacking out an entire area is now doable. This new tactical gameplay paves for many interesting and enjoyable methods to take down enemies and all it requires is brain power rather than how good you are with mashing buttons.

Guns; while the game is mainly focused on tech and tactics, blazing in with guns and grenades are always an option in many circumstances. And for this there is a wide array of weapons such as assault rifles, handguns, shotguns, sniper rifles and my personal favorite; Grenade launcher

Varieties of enjoyable side missions to do; gang hideouts, investigations for tactical and vigilante action there are criminal convoy and fixer contracts for vehicle based activities (which some of them are tediously annoying), hacking cTOS towers, privacy invasions if player is looking for activities that require a bit more brain power and of cause for there are mini games such as chess, drinking games and poker if you need simple and short fun. Every activity has its own rewards; some have information that explores the story, sub plots and characters of the game while some simply give more XP and money to be used in skills and items.

Big and lively open world

Large array of vehicles; There are normal cars, sports cars, exotic cars, motor cycles and even boats and fire trucks if you feel for an adventure. Not just that you can get any vehicles that is in the surrounding area (much for owners' disapproval) but there's also the ability unlock vehicles and get any of them delivered right to you.

The Bad:

There are numbers Outfits that can be bought for the character but most of them make him look like a hipster. (Well it's not a very important point but still.)

50/50:

Debatable Story; Depending on how you look at it, it's either a good 'action movie-esque' story that is focused on the character while also hinting a much bigger plot for a sequels, OR loss of chance to create a big story but focus on one character and his problems instead.

Debatable Characters; people that can be seen in a regular action movie but not so memorable.

Conclusion:

While story is not its strongest suite, Watch_Dogs delivers an innovative gameplay and a great open world surrounding it which make this game unique and highly entertaining.
