Warsong was brilliant. It was just challenging enough to keep me going, without frustrating me. The way they presented battles gave me a very real sense of power and danger. It perfectly fed my need Fantasy, I played it several times on my Genesis and later on my PC when my genesis stopped working. I'm writing this review today because my interest has returned and I'm seeking another fix. I want to play the sequel, and I'm searching for other games with a similar appeal.

Warsong is as compelling and addictive as Diablo II, City of Heroes and World of Warcraft. Yet it never gave me the feeling of running on a treadmill (which is why I ultimately stopped playing the others).

Highly recommended, fun even 15 years old.
