I've been a big fan of the Dynasty Warrior series and have played almost all of them. The first Dynasty Warriors game for the PSP was a complete let down not because of the characters, items, system, or anything, it's because of the map system. My PSP had to constantly load each little area, that itself already ruined the Dynasty Warriors feel. However, Warriors Orochi fixes that system and offers a completed battlefield which is one of it's strong points. Then there's the 77+Extra characters that are available to play after unlocking. The story mode is also quite long, about 10+ stages. Characters can also level up by defeating enemy bosses or using growth points, that spices everything up. Learning new abilities, fusing weapons, using up to 3 characters per stage. It really makes no sense how this game receives a 4.0, they're probably biased and are only attracted to one type of games. But trust me, this was worth the ($25 on sale) money and although I get bored of Dynasty Warriors games almost all the time at halfway through the game this one will keep me interested for a long time.
The one thing I didn't like about it was that unlike Samurai Warriors you don't get to have henchmens with you. Of course, using 3 main characters does make up for that, but still, having henchmens accompanying you would make the game even better.
