Its such a funny game. I really feel like laughing.
They removed the grid in which you move your army from map to map. That
feature added some form of a strategy element to the Warriors game. In Orochi
its just slash you slash me slash you. What happened? In Dynasty Warriors 2, i must honestly say, the graphics were bad. In Orochi, it is the same. What happened?? There are definitely more characters. More character to try to unlock. More fun. This is a small consolation to the sad truth i have to offer. The
sad truth is, the killing is still as dull as ever. At most you get on a horse or obtain a horse or get some new weapons but combat is still, in essence, very boring. The may is larger though. This returns to the console versions of Dynasty Warriors.
Multiplayer is still as dull as single player and at most just a little better. It is okay to play with a friend but there are better games with better multiplayer.
The storyline is a true blue cliche and i will go through a brief overview. Evil demon called Orochi crashed the world together and you have to work your way to kill this evil demon and save the whole of mushroom land. Occasional twist here and there are a little fun but in the end, it was not satisfying. If you are lets say a Lu Bu fan or a Tadakatsu Honda fan, you might replay the game to unlock them but some people would rather slit their wrist.
If you are a Dynasty Warriors kind of gamer then this is gold to you and if you just want a game to mash buttons and have little thinking in less than exciting combat, this is an option. Other than that, if you want to try something new, you should pass this.
