Yeah, but...it's still a lot of work to do 132 characters. XD I'm just planning on doing whoever I want when I feel like it, and while Okuni is the only one I hate to play as there are still characters I'm "meh" on. Those will all be ignored.

Can i make some requests if you like to play as these characters?

Ryu Hayabusa, Yue Ying, Aya, Kaguya, Xu Huang, or Dong Zhuo?

Ryu for sure, Aya and Xu Huang maybe. The rest, no.


I'm very interested in a Musashi evaluation. He kicked serious ass in the other WO games, AND in SW2.
In WO3, I can't seem to make him do anything...

Ranmaru Mori's another one I'm interested in. He seems horrible at first, but Agility and his R1 seriously speeds up his attack (just like Xiahou Ba's R1 does). As an early guess, I think he'll rank B- or C+.

I was actually a big Musashi player back in SW2, so I may do him. Ranmaru I never cared for, though I'll admit his moveset is fun.


Some questions.

1) Would you consider it a bad thing that Xiahou Ba depends on his R1+Osmosis?
2) Would you consider it a bad thing that Xu Huang depends on his EX for the defense buff?

Also, is finishing the same round quickly considered?
Are horses allowed? If not, is using Xiahou Ba's R1 considered cheating since he can run incredibly fast for 10 seconds and with him being able to use r1 few times before recharging with osmosis?

1. No. See Joan of Arc.
2. His defense wouldn't make him kill any faster and if I were to play him I'd probably have his DEF at 999 with items and team members. If his EX can buff his defense beyond that, then hey. That's kewl. But ultimately useless. The main thing I consider to make someone high tier is not being hit to begin with, being hit and being able to withstand it, well, anyone can do that with Chimera Shell and Absorption. But I can't say exactly until I really try him...which I may or may not.

Yes, faster the person can kill things the better. Horses are not allowed, that was stated in the first post. And no, running speed isn't the reason I don't used mounted combat.

...And stop asking about Xiahou Ba, people have talked about him ENOUGH. He's good, we get it. Everyone agrees he's good. I just assume he's good, I dunno, I frankly don't care. Just...stop asking.

Kanbei maybe, Deng Ai possibly.

A lot of characters are basically invincible, just with the right set up. If his EX does what I could already do, I don't see it being that much to brag about.

But I don't really know either, I haven't played him yet.

but Xaldin, isnt that more of a build for each character if your doing this rather than judging them by their own characteristics and moveset?

The point is to take a character, and use them to their maximum utmost potential. Characteristics and movesets factor into that, and the weapon build and items are put together to work best with them. Yuanji can raise the TTA Gauge better than anyone, therefor, her build specializes around that. Kojiro can heal a massive amount of HP from a single peon, eliminating the need for Absorption so the slot can further be used to strengthen him.

Brilliance I'm banning because it makes everyone broken, to the point where the best characters I could already tell you. Anyone with a good S-string and is speed type. Which eliminates any need for a tier list. Nothing else breaks the characters as bad as that.
