WE is not a Diablo-esque Action RPG, nor is it a MMO. Currently riddled with game breaking issue, but is enjoyable.

User Rating: 7 | Warrior Epic PC
Warrior Epic is anything but epic in its current state, which is "Released", riddled with latency issues, login/launcher issues the game is barely enjoyable. Looking passed these issues with the few hours I was able to play lag free, the game has promise. The game is advertised as a "Free Fantasy Action MMORPG," most of it is true. The game is free w/optional micro-transactions, its in a fantasy setting. It is Action Oriented, but not a Diablo-esque Action(Hack n Slash), but the game is not an MMO. Its System resembles more of a Battle.net like lobby system. MMORPG, no its not, but Online RPG, yes it is.

===========[Presentation]===========

The game is presented to you in a "Released" state(no longer in beta), but it contains latency/login issues that should have been fixed while stress testing during beta. You are forced to watch an introductory slide-show(can skip slides) until you complete the tutorial. Once you complete the tutorial you can freely play the game. You are brought to a lobby, similar to that of a Battle.net like system. Every step of the way there are tutorials to help you. Once again I bring up that the game is advertised wrong, I don't feel that the game does enough to carry MMO in its genre. The genre of the game fits in more with "Online RPG."

The User Interface in action is as simple as it gets, character frame, target frame, skillbar, system bar, chat frame, and minimap. All do not impede the action. By Default the Health Meters are hearts which I find a horrible concept, but you can set them to the standard bar.

The Game always launches in Windowed Mode, a major design error in my opinion. Some players prefer to play in full screen, and will have to manually switch every new session.

Players are forced to be a Pit Fighter it seems until they finish the tutorial and gain some prestige. Initial player choice should be decide by the player, not the designers.

The Download on Demand System doesn't seem to be ready to be used publicly.

Presentation:
Pros - Tutorials that guide you along the way, simple UI
Cons - Login/Latency issues, Doesn't save fullscreen, forced to start as Pit Fighter, default Health Meters are hearts, Faulty Download on Demand P2P system, Minor False Advertised Genre.
Overall - The overall presentation of the game feels like they rushed the game to public to make money. Game feels Early Beta incomplete.
Grade - 6.0 / 10

===========[Gameplay]===========

Ignoring the oblivious latency issues the gameplay is solid, but not revolutionary. The gameplay is the standard target and watch style of play. Your attacks can hit more than one mob, fitting as you are usually pitted by more than one mob.

You can play by yourself by hosting a private room, or with others by joining or hosting a public room.

Mobs don't drop loot, but it seems loot is determined at the end of each quest, by the amount you killed, and the number of crates you break that contain coins that add up to the treasure value under your character frame. Everything is setup from your barrack.

Gameplay:
Pros - Gameplay is solid and fluid, options to play by yourself or with others, no looting.
Cons - destroying crates and checking ruins and such gets repetitive and draws you away from the action just to increase the treasure value.
Overall - Gameplay is solid, but not revolutionary.
Grade - 8.0 / 10

===========[Lasting Appeal]===========

In its current state with the latency/login issue the appeal is low, it is hard to enjoy the game when constant stalls may occur, and checking error that has been around since launch.

Lasting Appeal:
Pros - If you can last 30 minutes of gameplay the game is fun to some.
Cons - Too many issues to enjoy a "Release" version.
Overall - Not the time to try this game out, I suggest waiting if you haven't registered.
Grade - 7 / 10

===========[Support]===========

I haven't tried the IRC channel or the support ticket line, but the forum support is one of the worst available. You have your Community Manager(Admin), the publisher's staff, Mentors, and Mods. But nowhere to be found is a forum tech support section, or general support section. Not much player to player support, but nothing is expected from players, its not their responsibility to provide support.

Grade - 5 / 10

===========Potential(Future)===========

Warrior Epic as a game - Honestly WE feels like a side project for Possibility Space's partners so they can profit, and continue funding PS for future projects.

True Games As Publisher - Judging from the current Release, I see TG as a publisher that only seeks to gain profit from the F2P Market. Stated on their Company Info page, "True Games Interactive was founded in January 2008 on the premise that online gamers deserved better". This is one promise that I do not see them fulfilling.

A publisher usually determines the fate of a new game, and WE under TG I do not see potential, sadly.
